SAFIRE paper presented at TREC4CPS in Nashville

A paper titled "Scheduling of Smart Factories using Edge Computing and Clouds", describing the SAFIRE research related to Reconfiguration-as-a-Service as an emerging trend for dynamic smart factories, was presented at the 1st International Workshop on Trustworthy and Real-time Edge Computing for Cyber-Physical Systems (TREC4CPS), held in conjunction with the IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium (RTSS) in Nashville, Tennessee, USA in December 2018. TREC4CPS is a new workshop focusing on distributed edge computing solutions that answer an ever-increasing volume of data that is being generated by the IoT sensors that reside at the edge of the network. The workshop is held in conjunction with IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium (RTSS), the premier conference in the field of real-time systems, presenting innovations with respect to both theory and practice. The accepted version of the paper can be found here. The slideset from the presentation can be found here.
